The Global Services contract has become Appendix G of the core contract.
The core articles that would replace existing language are as follows; Articles 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 11, 12, 14, 15, 16, 20, 24, 28, 29. Additionally, the MOA regarding Uniform Services Leave of Absence-Executive Order for Operation Enduring Freedom/Operation Iraqi Freedom and the Success Sharing Plan of the 2009 core contract (which will be used for HRA’s).
Language previously covered in the Global contract not listed above will apply and be referred to as Sections of the Appendix. Those sections will include; Time Off for Union Business, Management Rights, Work Done By Management, Contracting Out of Work, Promotions, Wage Progression Treatment, Hours, Overtime, On Call/Call Up, Temporary Work Location, Meals and Relief Periods, Personal Vehicles, Company Vehicles, Recognized Holidays, Vacations, Excused Work Days, Absences, Severe Weather, Workforce Adjustment Procedures, Relocation, Service Leader, Tools, Training, Career & Personal Development.
Wage schedules and service areas will be included as well as MOA’s on Term Employees, Four Day Work Week Trial, Employment Opportunities and Job Titles.
Improvements:
Temporary Work Location mileage reduced from 55 to 50;
Relocation increased from $3500 to $4500 (if you own) and $2500 to $3500 (if you rent);
Wages 3%, 3% & 2.75% and Cola third year if applicable (same as core);
Job Offer Guarantee (NEW): An employee hired prior to 4/4/2004 and is identified for layoff and who didn’t have the opportunity to assume the job of the least senior employee with the same job title under the workforce adjustment language be offered a job within the region if they qualify.
