We are the Michigan State AFL-CIO. Fifty-nine national or international unions are affiliated with us, representing over 700,000 Michigan workers. We also represent another 200,000 union retirees. Our primary missions are political and legislative action. But we also are involved in job training, safety and health programs, and community services.
